A 14-day Kashmir tour would give you ample time to explore the beautiful and scenic region of Kashmir. Here is a suggested itinerary for your 14-day tour:
Day 1-2: Srinagar
Arrive in Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. Spend your first two days exploring the city’s attractions, such as the Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, Hazratbal Shrine, and Shankaracharya Temple.
Day 3-4: Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam, which is about 90 km from Srinagar. Spend two days exploring this picturesque town, including a visit to the Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari. You can also go for a pony ride to Baisaran or take a short trek to Kolahoi Glacier.
From Pahalgam, drive to Gulmarg, which is around 140 km away. Spend two days in Gulmarg, enjoying the scenic beauty and adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and gondola rides.
Day 7-8: Sonamarg
Drive to Sonamarg, which is about 80 km from Gulmarg. Spend two days exploring the Thajiwas Glacier, Zojila Pass, and Baltal Valley. You can also go for a pony ride or trekking to explore the scenic beauty of Sonamarg.
Day 9-10: Kargil
From Sonamarg, drive to Kargil, which is around 120 km away. Spend two days exploring the town’s attractions, including the Kargil War Memorial, Drass War Memorial, and the Suru Valley.
Day 11-12: Leh
Drive to Leh, which is about 230 km from Kargil. Spend two days exploring the town’s attractions, including the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Thiksey Monastery, and the Hemis National Park.
Day 13-14: Nubra Valley
Drive to Nubra Valley, which is around 150 km from Leh. Spend two days exploring the beautiful sand dunes and the Diskit Monastery. You can also go for a camel safari and visit the Panamik Hot Springs.
